How this automation works
Send scanned video URLs to Castmagic for automatic transcription. This Applet runs when the Camera widget scans a QR code containing an http(s) URL and forwards that URL to Castmagic as the audio_or_video_url to transcribe. Useful for quickly converting recorded talks, interviews, or public videos into speaker-labeled transcripts — ideal for journalists, podcasters, and researchers using Camera widget and Castmagic. Note: Install the IFTTT app and add the widget to your home screen.
