Connect a lamp to the Home8 Smart Plug and have it turn on whenever the Ring doorbell is rang. This will give the impression that your home is occupied.

This Trigger fires every time somebody rings your Ring Doorbell.

Then

Home8 icon

Turn on switch

This Action will turn a Home8 switch on. If already on, it will remain on.
