How this automation works
My mom has an iPhone 3G, which can only run iOS 4.2.1 and below. Instagram recently stopped supporting this version of iOS, so my mom was suddenly locked out of Instagram. She was only using Instagram to follow me, since I post a lot of photos of her grandkid. She's going to upgrade her phone soon, but in the meantime, this IFTTT recipe allows her to get her grandkid in her inbox. IFTTT saves the day again!
