How this automation works
Control your QNAP device’s power remotely using a simple Webhook trigger. This Applet runs when your specified Webhook event fires and immediately performs your chosen power action on the QNAP device. Ideal for automating NAS shutdowns or reboots when triggered by other services or scripts. Note: This requires a reachable webhook endpoint (URL).

This trigger fires every time a new system event occurs on your QNAP device. This trigger is only available to the device administrator.
Receive a web request
Realtime trigger
Realtime Applets run after the trigger service notifies IFTTT of a new trigger event. Since IFTTT is notified proactively of new trigger events, realtime Applets normally run within a few seconds of a trigger event occurring.
This trigger fires every time the Maker service receives a web request to notify it of an event. For information on triggering events, go to your Maker service settings and then the listed URL (web) or tap your username (mobile)

This action will append to a text file as determined by the filename and folder path you specify. If there is no file present, a new file will be created. Once a file’s size reaches to maximum a new file will be created.

Action

This action allows you to control basic music station operations like stop playing current song, play next song in the current playlist and play previous song in the current playlist.

Control surveillance cameras of QNAP Device via Surveillance Station
