How this automation works
Keep your PagerDuty incidents up to date automatically. This Applet runs when you send an email to trigger@applet.ifttt.com with a specific hashtag in the subject and updates an incident’s status in PagerDuty. It’s perfect for on-call teams that resolve or acknowledge issues directly from their inbox. Customize the message to fit your tone. Note: Install the IFTTT app on the device(s) where you want to send tagged emails.

Realtime Applets run after the trigger service notifies IFTTT of a new trigger event. Since IFTTT is notified proactively of new trigger events, realtime Applets normally run within a few seconds of a trigger event occurring.
