How this automation works
Email the nearest reported sighting of a bird species to yourself using Gmail. When the Button widget is pressed, the Applet asks eBird for the closest occurrence of the species you configure and sends the top result in an email. Great for birders who want a quick, shareable record (location, date, checklist) from eBird delivered to their inbox via Gmail. Note: Customize the message to fit your tone.
