How this automation works
Control your MagicHue smart lights by sending an email with a specific hashtag. This Applet runs when you email trigger@applet.ifttt.com with a chosen tag in the subject, turning on your selected MagicHue lights automatically. It’s perfect for quickly activating lighting scenes or remotely controlling your lights from anywhere using just your email. Customize the message to fit your tone. Note: Install the IFTTT app on the device(s) where you want to receive notifications.
