I prefer to change the color of one light. What I'd like is an alert pattern on ALL of the lights, the a slow reversion to what was before, and finally a change to the new state. The alert would... alert me to watch, and the reversion would allow me to take note of the change, thus giving me the intended information. There needs to be more UI research done on these sorts of lighting situations, and ifttt helps that happen.
