How this automation works
Automatically update your Adafruit IO feed and call a webhook whenever your SmartThings sensor closes. This Applet runs each time a selected SmartThings device reports that it has been closed, sending structured data to Adafruit IO and a web request for further processing. Perfect for monitoring door or gate status in real time through your IoT dashboards. Note: This requires a reachable webhook endpoint (URL).
