How this automation works
Whenever you send an email to IFTTT with a specific hashtag in the subject, a Gmail message is automatically sent to your chosen recipients. This makes it easy to trigger email notifications or updates using simple hashtag commands from your inbox. For example, email IFTTT with #leave to notify someone that you’re heading out. Customize the message to fit your tone.
