How this automation works
Send nearby eBird hotspot details to your phone via SMS. When you activate a named scene with Google Assistant, the applet asks eBird for birding hotspots near the location you choose and sends the top hotspot's name, ID, and link as an SMS. Useful for birders who want quick hotspot names, eBird IDs, and links delivered by SMS when they trigger a Google Assistant scene.
