How this automation works
Illuminate your porch and trigger an external event automatically. This runs whenever your Ring doorbell detects motion, turning on a selected ecobee light switch and sending a web request through Webhooks. Ideal for enhancing home security and automating lighting when movement is detected outside. Note: This requires a reachable webhook endpoint (URL).
