How this automation works
Enable automatic monitoring by activating your INSTAR camera’s motion detection based on an email trigger. This Applet runs when IFTTT receives an email containing a chosen hashtag in the subject line through your linked Email account, and then switches on motion detection for your selected camera. Perfect for remote security management or monitoring when you’re away. Customize the message to fit your tone. Note: Install the IFTTT app on the device(s) where you want to receive notifications.

Send IFTTT an email at trigger@applet.ifttt.com with a hashtag in the subject (e.g. #IFTTT) and this Trigger fires. You can optionally add a single file attachment (up to 30MB) and IFTTT will create a public URL to the file as an Ingredient.
