How this automation works
For Airbnb and Vrbo hosts, this applet automatically sets your Nest thermostat to pre-heat or pre-cool the vacation rental so it's comfortable when guests arrive. It runs when a Google Calendar "Event from search" starts (for example, a "Guest Check-in" event) and sets the Nest thermostat temperature range to the values you choose. Save time and ensure guests arrive to a perfect temperature by using a smart thermostat for Airbnb to pre-heat rental before check-in.
