About this Applet
Receive an email when Google Civic Information adds a new election for the area you choose. The Applet runs whenever the selected state (or nationwide) gets a new election and sends an HTML email with the election name and key details. Useful for election officials, volunteers, and voters who want timely notifications delivered by Email. Note: Customize the message to fit your tone.

Send IFTTT an email at trigger@applet.ifttt.com with a hashtag in the subject (e.g. #IFTTT) and this Trigger fires. You can optionally add a single file attachment (up to 30MB) and IFTTT will create a public URL to the file as an Ingredient.

About Email

Google Civic Information provides US election data by street address: where to vote, when polls are open, and what's on the ballot, sourced from state and local election officials through the Voting Information Project.
